HOW IT WORKS .....
The DBRT tournaments are designed to help promote mom & pop dive bars with ZERO cost to them! We do this by hosting online (Facebook) friendly competitions to find the #1 Dive Bar for that State. All you need is to be nominated into the contest .... bars can even nominate themselves!
All of the Bars that participate are printed on an official State DiveBarRoadTrip.com T-shirt featuring each bar in an easy to follow state map on the back. The bars that participate also get links from our web site for even more free publicity. Bars can also make money by selling the DBRT State shirt themselves if they want (optional).
The focus is not about who ends up winning the contest .. the focus is always to promote each of these bars with FREE marketing, building their online followers and generating excitement for them.
We hold State competitions throughout the year with a HUGE March Dive-Ness tournament (#1 USA DIVE BAR) run the same time as the NCAA March Madness basketball tournament. The 2023 March Dive-Ness tournament featured 128 bars throughout the USA and generated over 93,000 votes!
